The Associate in Science degree in Nursing is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and has full approval from the Board of Registration in Nursing of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Welcome to the Nursing Program at Cape Cod Community College (4Cs). We offer a specific sequence of courses that lead to the Associate in Science Degree. Upon successful completion of the degree program, the Director of Nursing Education will furnish documentation to the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing verifying that a student has met the legal responsibilities to be eligible for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX). 4Cs Nursing Program graduates become licensed as Registered Nurses upon successful completion of the NCLEX-RN.

Program Options and Admissions

The Nursing Program at 4Cs is a full-time two-year program (five semesters which includes pre-requisites). Day and Evening Options are available. Advanced placement for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is available through the LPN in Transition course. Prospective students to the Nursing Program at Cape Cod Community College have the opportunity to apply to either of these three options:

  • Day
  • Evening
  • Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse

Information Sessions

It is essential that all Nursing applicants attend a virtual Nursing Information Session that will include meeting with the Coordinator of the Nursing Program and 4Cs Admissions representative as well as a review of application procedures and details about the Nursing Program. These are scheduled periodically throughout the Fall semester.

Continuing Your Studies

The UMass Boston & Cape Cod Community College partnership RN-BS program offers convenience and flexibility for working RN's though Face to Face and Computer Assisted courses held at 4Cs.
